from the Lomira Fire Chief to
ALL Village of Lomira Residents, PLEASE TAKE NOTE...
As you know the Fire Department and Rescue Squad personal are all VOLUNTEERS...
That means when an emergency call comes in we have to leave our homes or work place and drive our own vehicles to the firehouse to get in the emergency vehicles. We do not have red lights or sirens on our personal vehicles but we do put our headlights on BRIGHT along with our FLASHERS.
So next time you see us behind you
PLEASE pull over
so we can get to the firehouse sooner. The house or life we
save might be yours or your neighbors.
Please inform all drivers in your household.
